Cake Kit Pantry

We offer Cake Kits to anyone in need. We will need your continued support of donations toward our Cake Kit Pantry. Thank you to all that have brought in items, already.

We always welcome donations of boxed cake mixes, frosting tubs, applesauce cups, 12 oz cans of 7Up, candles, cake decorations, and disposable 9x13 cake pans with lids.

Hello from the Community Enrichment Team!

We have formed the beginning of a team to continue the Community Enrichment events. Pam, Angelia, Del and Sheila are just some of the joyful faces you’ll encounter. We appreciate all our supporters that have helped make our events possible! We welcome anyone interested in joining to see Sadie. There are no major commitments or requirements. We are a fun, laid back group that enjoys having fun!

Love INC came in on June 18 and took 20 cake kits needed for June Birthdays in Osceola County We will continue to provide them with bulk pick-ups each month instead of us arranging single pick up and drops offs with individual families. Thank you to the Women in Faith group for helping support this mission, and the many donors that regularly bring in donations toward this cause. You are seen and you are appreciated! We always welcome donations of boxed cake mixes, frosting tubs, candles, cake decorations, and disposable 9x13 cake pans with lids.

We are so excited for July, as we have two concerts to host at RCUMC! The first will be local singer and songwriter, Aaron Rohde. Aaron teaches the 3/4 grade class at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Reed City. We are excited to have him play some of his own music as well as some old favorite hymns that we hope you’ll sing (and dance) along to! Please join us on July 14 from 1-3pm for a Potluck Concert. We are hoping to host this outside, so please plan accordingly. Feel free to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs. We are seeking 10x10 or similar sized canopy tents to borrow for the afternoon to create some spots to sit in the shade and enjoy the show! We will have tables and chairs set up for people to use. If you have a canopy we can use, please reach out to Sadie in the office. If you would like to help the Community Enrichment team with musician fees or event costs, please designate donations to the Community Enrichment fund with your offering or drop it off to the office. Your support is always appreciated! We hope you make it a priority to attend this special event of music, food, and fellowship!

On July 19 at 6:30pm, we are excited to host national Hammered Dulcimer musician, Matthew Dickerson to RCUMC. Matthew will play indoors for an evening free-will concert.

We encourage you to “Be a Blessing” this month of July!

"BE HUMBLE.
